ABOUT ME

How and where did I learn Game Design?

I've been designing games, or new features for existing games as a hobby since I know how to write. I started studying Game Design at 16 years old after I graduated from high school. I studied Game Design at Rubika Supinfogame for 5 years in France (2017-2022), and had the chance to work as a Game Design intern for Gameloft Paris in 2018 and for Funrock Studio in 2021 as a student.
I was very successful in this second internship and was offered a position there. As I wanted to complete my Master's Degree, I chose to work with them as a Freelance Game Designer while completing my studies. I got a full-time position there after graduating in 2022, and I still work there currently.

What are my specialties within game design?

As a Game Designer, I specialize in System Design. I'm most successful when having a global overview of the project, from which I can design the imbricated systems as a consistent whole. One of my best skills is also designing game effects (such as items or abilities). It's where I feel like I can get the most creative while maintaining the system integrity! An approach I also particularly enjoy is Player Psychology. I'm comfortable with using and/or building models to help me and the team understand the players that we are designing for. Being interested in Cognitive Sciences, it's something that I sometimes try to bring in my workflows when I feel like it can help the project.
